The AWWA Dry Fire Hydrant is suitable for outdoor fire water supply networks in climates where freezing may occur. Its dry barrel structure allows the upper barrel to drain after use, reducing the chance of water freezing inside the hydrant body. The base main valve controls water flow, while outlet layout, pumper connection, bury length, pressure rating, and base connection can be configured for different municipal fire protection projects.
