The Vane-Type Waterflow Detector is installed in wet sprinkler systems to provide an electrical alarm signal when water flow is detected. As water movement deflects the vane inside the pipe, the motion is transferred to the alarm switch after a preset time delay, helping indicate sprinkler system operation.
